i finally got around to organizing my wardrobe in the apartment this week. while it was definitely difficult trying to find space for everything, it was the perfect opportunity to sort through my clothes and figure out what exactly i need to buy and replace and what i need to get rid of. i was excited to hang up my blazers and scarves and can’t wait to start incorporating them into my wardrobe along with comfy sweaters. speaking of which, i purchased this vince one recently and it’s quickly become one of my favorites (i’m wearing it in this instagram shot). honestly, if i had it my way i’d have one of these in every color.

to be completely honest, i had every intention of publishing this post on friday. unsurprisingly, life got in the way (it’s been doing that a lot lately) and i never got a chance to. lack of sleep and endless amounts of work these past few weeks equated to me falling asleep on top of my computer in the middle of creating this collage. oops.

so sorry for the long and unexpected hiatus. now that i’m all moved into my apartment and i have a much better sense of my workload for the semester, i can finally find some time to myself and catch up on blogging. i am so relieved september is over with already - it’s been a stressful few weeks and a new month is just what i need for a fresh start. my days are crazy busy but i am so happy to be living in new york, you have no idea. i have so many things i want to do now that i’m here permanently (i’m looking at you, drybar) and can’t wait to share my nyc adventures. i spent the entire weekend working on my latest project for school and decorating the apartment. while i’m nowhere near finished, i am happy with how it’s coming along and plan on doing some more browsing this weekend for some cool pieces. once i get my camera i can’t wait to post pictures of how it turned out. happy october, everybody! i’m glad to be back! xx
