i’ve been trying to soak in as much inspiration as possible as of late - books, movies, lectures, conversations. being at columbia has sparked an enormous curiosity in me and i am excited to see what direction it takes me in, both personally and in terms of my academic career. i find myself wondering a lot about the direction i want to take veanad in - and while i don’t think i have a definitive answer to that quite yet - i think there is a lot of potential for creative growth that will (hopefully) translate into something positive and fulfilling. on an unrelated note, i hope you are all doing well and are safely recovering from the devastating situation regarding the hurricane. my thoughts go out to all of you affected by the storm. xx

although i check instagram on a daily basis, i have been feeling uninspired by my own account for awhile now. in need of a change, i’ve decided to use it as a place to explore and be creative with black and white images and am already feeling a lot more inspired and excited about it. feel free to follow along if you aren’t already (@veanad).
