upon learning that i’m greek, most people ask me one of three things: how do you feel about the crisis? have you ever been? and my personal favorite: is your life anything like my big fat greek wedding? my favorite memories usually involve my trips to greece. unfortunately, these past few years have been tough for me and my family because we haven’t had a chance to visit. i’ve spent the last year or so reading about the problems that have been going on over there and it breaks my heart, but i’m hoping i will get a chance to visit for a few weeks this summer to see my grandparents and other family members and sneak in some vacation time, too. these shots of a house in tinos bring back fond memories. see more here.
