today’s been a pretty slow day for me, so i decided to finally go through all the things in my room at home. it’s been such a long time that i have forgotten what’s been left behind. i took some time to organize my closet and it’s incredible how many things i still have floating around that i refuse to let go of. i think one of the big things i want to accomplish in the next year or so is getting around to streamlining my wardrobe.

i want to finally have a cohesive closet full of essentials (think: white blouses, dark jeans, khaki trench, classic bags, etc) that are timeless and purge all the things i don’t wear anymore. i think some time after christmas i will be on the look out for any consignment shops to see if i can make some money and put it towards new items. at the very least i want to donate what i can to help others out. in the meantime, i’ll be using this picture as inspiration for my future wardrobe.

ps: if you’re looking for another way to make some easy money while cleaning out old things, consider selling your old books (even children’s books and textbooks!) i’ve made a lot of money doing that over the years. i will be sure to post in detail about the sites and methods i use just incase anybody is interested.
